For CMT patients who experience progressive muscle weakness and foot drop, Tamarack’s advanced orthotic products provide essential support and functionality. Many CMT patients require ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) to maintain mobility, and Tamarack’s innovative technologies helps create more comfortable, effective bracing solutions. Through this partnership, we’re working together to ensure that individuals with CMT have access to advanced orthotic products that improve stability, reduce fatigue, and support their independence.
These are flexible ankle joints for use in articulating ankle-foot orthoses (AFO’s). Available only to licensed O&P professionals, patients need to go through their clinician to get an AFO with these installed.
This is a patented, low-friction, self-adhesive material and is applied to the surface areas of a user’s footwear, brace, orthosis, prosthesis, or other gear / equipment that’s causing painful and damaging rubbing on the skin like blisters, hotspots, ulcers, etc. ShearBan is typically
sold to clinicians (who then cut out custom shapes for their patients), but is also available for purchase direct
ly by consumers.
Identical material to ShearBan, except these are pre-cut patch shapes marketed specifically to consumers for applications causing uncomfortable rubbing and blisters. Available only to consumers.
Socks with patented, low-friction, GlideWear Technolo gy sewn into specific areas of the sock. They solve the same skin rubbing and breakdown problems as Shear Ban and ENGO, except in a sock format. Available to both clinicians and consumers via different distributors
and ecommerce options.
